I have 2 herniated discs due to an injury at work. I have been out of work since Aug 13th...my company is deducting my time out of work...for a work related injury...from my 12 weeks of FMLA! I just don't understand why I should be penalized b/c of an injury that happened at work. Is this legal?
I really wouldn't care but last week I found out my mother is dying from cancer and I know there will be a time where I will need to be there for her and now I'm using my FMLA...what do I do?
