What does quality review mean - Disabilities Message Board

What does it mean when you have been awarded your disability but then they randomly select your file for quality review ?

If you have just been awarded, I would say they arw just checking on the employee or or employees handling of the documentation, If it was filled out correctly, all i s dotted and t s crossed , was handled in a timely and appropiate fashion, etc,etc. I worked for the feds for 20 years and was subject to several quality reviews. They have to have a way to evaluate employees.
I hope it don't hold up your money.
I personally would call them and ask them what it meant.

Im not sure, but it sounds like they are going over your file with a fine tooth comb. I also agree with the fact that the worker whom is handling your file is being reviewed. I am still waiting for mine as well. I was approved on 10/31/08 by the ALJ, last I heard it was still in the payment center. Hope some of this helps, Good Luck to you.
