heartsongs1975 Newbie (female) Join Date: Jan 2009 Location: Cookeville, Tennessee, USA Posts: 1	getting ssdi benefits back after marriage didn't work Why does a marriage that doesn't work have to be annulled and can't just be divorced, in order to get childhood social security disability benefits back that were lost when I got married? I was drawing them from my deceased father because I never was able to work and earn enough credits to draw off of myself.
