how do I file taxes if I worked alittle and just got disablty?

Hello Becky....Welcome to the boards.

You file taxes like you normally do. You report all income. You should get a W2 for your work performed, and if you've just started receiving disability, you'll get a statement showing any money paid you in 2008. The gov't irs website explains how to report disability income....It goes on a different line than regular income.

Disability income goes on line 20 of the 1040 form. There's a worksheet in the instruction booklet to see if you have to pay anything on it.
