Wink SSDI Review

Hello everyone. I received a letter from SSA around the end of Jan. '09 asking me to fill out a 6 question form and return within 30 days. One question regarded my last 3 visits to a Dr. for either treatment or prescription refills, etc. I took that form to the Dr's. office so they could fill out the last 3 visits. The nurse filled it out, showing only hypertension and a couple other things that really aren't associated with my disability. However, I did contact my Pharmacy to get a copy of the history of Meds I have gotten over the past couple of years. The main one is Hydrcodone for the pain I have in my lower back (Degenerative Disc Disease), my Total Knee Replacement, and a 3 tier Neck Fusion. I did mention that on the form about the pain I still deal with. I am 58 1/2 yrs. old and was wondering how long it takes to get a response from SSA and if anyone feels I could have my SSDI discontinued. Thanks for your replies in advance.

Re: SSDI Review

I think they're more apt to take someone off disability when they fail to seek treatment for the disability so it's good that you sent your pharma record.
