I am waiting on a hearing date for SSDI and was wondering do i need to send in all my medical bills to my lawyer in the mail or just keep them all.
I have no health insurance to pay these bills or income coming in.

What could the lawyer do about it? Even if you get approved for SSDI, they won't pay your past due medical bills. Medicare kicks in 2 years after you start getting it...if you get approved for ssi then you get retroactive medicaid from 3 months from application. but that's it. sorry.

As long as your lawyer has all your medical records, he does not need anything else for the hearing.

Is your lawyer trying to find you help for financial hardship? Like armyofone0508 said, the SSDI is not going to pay your back medical bills.

Hopefully, you will win at your hearing, and get enough back pay to take care of the bills.

I thought if you get SSD and it's been longer than 24 months since you applied they will cover those medical bills?

Ex: you applied in Jan of 2005
Approved Jan of 2009

wouldn't your Medicare go back to Feb of 2007 and pay those bills going forward?
