How soon did you see your "back pay " in your account after your hearing if you were approved?

My attorney told me that we will tell the judge that I am in financial hardship and ask her to process it asap if she finds me disabled, which I am 99% sure she will.

My wife isnt able to work because she has to be here to help me and the kids, so we litterly have no income coming right now.

My hearing is next tuesday, and I am praying more then I have ever prayed that one I get approved and two that it comes asap

From what I have read, once you are approved, the pay comes pretty quick. There are several here, who said the money showed up in their bank account, before the approval letter came in the mail.

I hope your judge gives you a quick decision. My hearing was in June, and I am still waiting for a decision.

It took about 3 weeks after approval letter for my back pay to show up in our checking account, which, for me, was this am. If you get approved make sure you call SS if you don't have the same checking account, if you signed up for direct deposit. I haven't gotten my first months payment, but it comes on the second weds. I still haven't gotten the letter with all my info, but I did get an application to fill out if I get help with my medicare premiums.

my attorney requested an on the record decision and made me a doctor appointment with the dr at his attorney office. that was aug 11. his receptionist said i would probably hear something in about 10 days, still nothing though. what info if any could my attorney find out for me from ssa. and my mortgage company is attmepting to foreclose on my home, i keep telling them i have applied for my disability and waiting to hear about that. since its been so long should i assume i wasn't approved for an otr decision?
