I have won my ssdi and told it is in payment processing in Maryland. They say it takes 30-60 days to get the money, but i have read ppl getting it alot faster than that. Can anyone give me any info on this? Hoping to get it before Christmas! They received my case in Maryland this week and they have my bank info. Thanks!
Since they do have your banking info, all should move along smoothly.
It's hard to guess when it will be deposited but seems to be more helpful calling and asking on what date you can expect payment. i have found that calling your local social security office is very helpful. Be persistant with them, they do have the answers.

I got mine pretty quick. Court October 22nd. Approval letter October 28th. Back pay lump sum on November 9th. November 13th received the letter explaining how amount figured out etc. Medicare card recieved the week after that.
It was all very fast. You can call them and they will give you the info too.

Hessie, I thought you had to be on disability 2 years to get Medicare....? Do you mean Medicaide? Did you get SSI or SSDI? Mine is SSDI. I know ssi can get medicaide.
