I called odar and they said the decision is at the writers office and that it was sent on july 25th, they would not tell if it was favorable or not, i see here most people that where able to find out beforehand where favorable i have seen no one say they called and got bad news oh well, how long can this go on for before we here something thanks as always. going crazy

The waiting time is the worst. ANd knowing that their has been a decision without knowing is a killer. Hopefully in the next couple weeks you will have a fully favorable !
thanks for the posts,, now that its coming down to the wire i never thought it would bother me, i find myself rambling through the possibilitys crazy feeling.
ODAR will usually not tell you what the decision is. the person that answers the phone only has authority to tell you certain things and the judge's decision is not one of them.. if they do tell you and it gets back to their "boss" they could be in trouble...
i think the only time anyone knows before the letter comes in is if they were issued a verbal "bench decision" approval while at the alj hearing... that is what happened with me this week. the judge told me right then and there he was issuing a fully favorable approval, what he was basing his decision on, the onset date, and then stated "we are now 'off the record' " ...
but we still have to await our written approval and benefits letters, and the money.. with no idea when we will receive any of those...
