Hi every one...I had a hearing Dec. 2010...and I havnt received a decision by mail yet. But I just called social security today and they looked it up in the data base and they told me it was denied and Ill be receiving something in the mail. Wow..just yesterday someone called me from the ODAR office and told me it was still in edit. Should I believe this person from social security???

No,no,no, don't beleive it they aren't suppose to tell you anything but if you call tommrow you might get a totaly different answer I would just wait and see. Hang in there I really never heard of them given a denial over the phone but nonthing suprises me as far as ssa goes.I hope that person was wrong did you get there name?

If you called the 1-800 number that might not be accurate. If you called again you will get a different representative and he will tell you something completey different. Try not to get too upset over this , it may not be true. It is best to talk to someone in your local social security office or wait for a letter in the mail.

Agreed! Try to talk to someone at your local office. Waiting is SO hard - hang in there.
