4 and a half weeks and case closed...good sign?

I had my alj hearing 4 and half weeks ago and called ODAR this morning at was told that the case was closed on the 15th, and I should be receiving my decision this week, I have read on the internet that a approved decision can take anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks, and that a denile can take up to 5 months.... any thoughts or any one had a fast decison that resulted in an approval?

Re: 4 and a half weeks and case closed...good sign?

I asked my attorney this question a while back, and she told me that the length of time to make a decision didn't mean anything. Some judges are just slower and more backlogged than others. I hope that yours is an approval though , and am glad you aren't having to wait a long time for the decision. I have been waiting almost 8 months for my decision.
