I am glad you now have a hearing date , it is only in a few months, that does not seem too long of a wait. It will give you time to prepare and get letters from your DRs. It will help you have the letters because that will show the Judge your Dr's support your claim . if you work part ime and stay below $1000 a month it should not affect your claim, social security actually apreciates when someone attempts work. Talk to your Lawyer about working whlle waiting for a hearing, it might not be a good idea , i am unsuire. I worked part time for a while and was laid off , but that was before applying .
