Re: Vertigo after sex
I on occasion will experience vertigo but I can always identify the culprit's; getting up too fast after exhurtion, not eating well during the day, not breathing properly during the physical activity, etc. You may not be giving yourself enough time before you get up. During sex, we use allot of energy, and a portion of your blood flow temporarily gets diverted to your genitals. Good nutrition as well as good breathing techniques not only help with female responce but will help you feel less drained and dizzy afterwards.
If this is suddenly new and you can't see that you are doing anything differantly that may be contributing, you really should discuss this with a Dr. I hate to make anyone worry unnecessarily but at 70 yrs old, you could have a cardiovascular problem that's restricting blood flow to your brain, you could be developing blockages in either or both of your carotid arteries which lessens the blood flow to the brain. It could be something going on in your ears. You don't want this problem to progress until you completely pass out, hitting your head and likely breaking a hip, vertebrea or other bones. Vertigo in a 70yr old person is almost always a symptom of something else but only a Dr can dertermine what the cause and most appropriate treatment or action for you. Please consider seeing a Dr.
