I thought I would post here for some suggestions and information. Iíve been suffering from dizziness/vertigo since February of this year, and I had all sorts of tests (MRI scan, dizziness test, all sorts of tests) and no one had an official diagnosis besides ďvestibular neuro-something.Ē A neurologist claims that my dizziness is related to migraine headaches. They prescribed no medication for me, but made me do balance therapy and balance exercises (a sort of ďbalance-regaining rehabĒ) for months and then discharged me, claiming that everything was all right, according to their tests. However, I had a relapse about a month or two later. The symptoms especially became worse when I took a Sudafed PE about two months ago.
Since then, Iíve been having constant pressure in my head and migraines almost every day since February of 2010. However, I notice that the dizzy symptoms do get ďbetterĒ if I have a full nightís sleep or no headache.
Often, I feel like Iím swinging on a pendulum, or that Iím tilting to the side (when in fact I am sitting upright), or the sensation that Iím on something wobbly. Or my eyes will shift slightly without me wanting them to. My brain feels like it's being "molded." Itís uncomfortable and itís not right, and I want to clear it up.
I donít smoke, drink, do drugs, and I eat very healthy. I exercise about three times a week. Iíve tried everything I could think of, even acupuncture, checking my eyes, and removing an impacted wisdom tooth. Nothing seems to clear up the dizziness.
What should I do? What is it? Seeking your insight and suggestions..
Hi! Im having the same symptoms as you are. I was also told by an ENT I have MIgraine associated vertigo. I am dizzy everyday and hate it. I just bought the book Heal your Headache also. Is it helping you?
