I have MS and one major symptom is dizziness...dizziness is dizziness no matter what disease it comes from so i thought I'd ask here...My dr gave me Klonopin to try so I didn't have to take Antivert, which is too strong for me..anyway..I have had both klonopin and Xanax before but not for dizziness and was wondering if any really do work, which one is really better for "dizziness" if any.
Hello, I have been dealing with chronic dizziness for 2 months now and I have heard of dr's prescribing anxiety meds for dizziness however, I take klonopin well clonazapem which is the generic for anxiety. I have not noticed it help my dizziness when i take it but you never know everbodys body reacts differently to drugs so maybe it will help for you. Good Luck!

yes it works but he should be giving you Valium not K or Xanax
BTW all three of these are much stronger than antivert so nothing your doctor is telling you is accurate. My advise is get a new doctor.

if it does not work you I am sure you do not have vertigo but rather light headedness
actually in my body...Antivert knocks me out more than the above///
as for the Valium...I too, heard that is better for dizziness so i may suggest that next time...and no it is not lightheadedness...MS dizziness is not lightheadednes..it IS dizziness and room spinning.
