| Sudden onset Deafness/Vertigo in ear post op uterine surgery
Wondering if anyone has any info on sudden onset deafness/vertigo pressure/buzzing in one ear post op for a surgery NOT ear related?? i have been treated with antibiotics and oral steroids as well as transtempanic steroid injections and have little improvement with now total return of deafness and above symptoms. my prior history was BPV in that ear for 7 yrs with episodic vertigo relieved by the eplee manuver. Current ear doc is stumped all blood work is normal for autoimmune and other strange stuff...he is thinking of starting me on the rhuematoid arthritis drug even though i tested negative for that also. i would appreciate any ideas or info- thanks!!
