Did this start after you took a boat, plane or long car ride? If it did, you might want to look up Mal de Debarquement Syndrome.
This sounds a bit like the episodes I've had. My issue is still undiagnosed but I did see a specialist for MdDS and he said my symptoms were pretty close, but felt I shoule pursue the blocked sinus I had at the time as a cause for my issue. I had sinus surgery and have still had 2 more attacks with clear sinus. So, I'm still looking for answers too.
If the medications you were given aren't working, you have to fight for treatment and be your own advocate. I know I've had to. I guess I was naive thinking doctors would be interested in taking me on and following through to get a diagnosis, but I've been searching for 9 years for an answer and only recently (in the past year) figured out just how hard I'm going to have to fight and how much I have to work to get anyone to listen and help me find an answer.
