Hi everyone. Just wanted to share something which might help regarding vertigo and dizziness. Having suffered myself for nearly 18 months, I was at my wits end looking for a diagnosis, receiving nothing from MRI scans, CT scans, bloodwork, etc. All a dead-end, then was labelled by doctors as all in my head, and take an anti-depressant which did nothing for me. A very good friend told me about NUCCA chiropractic adjustment, which adjusts only the top cervical neck area, with no popping or cracking. It seems that when the atlas bone (at top of brain stem) is off alignment (can be caused by a neck or head injury, however slight, and can takes years to show symptoms) it can cause all sorts of health problems, including vertigo and dizziness. I found a nucca chiropractor 40 mins from my home, and visited him last Saturday, and sure enough, the x-rays showed my atlas was off alignment by 5 degrees I think. He adjusted it precisely using mathematical calculations, and just by gently pressure of his hand, no snapping or cracking. I did feel some difference after the first adjustment. The trick is to keep the adjustment in alignment, it can slip out again. Mine did, and I have had 3 adjustments so far, seems to be holding as far as I can tell after the third one. Am going back again this Saturday for a 4th adjustment. When the adjustment stabilises, the brain stem is freed up to send correct messages to the body, and the healing process begins. Also, tight neck and back muscles should relax over time as they have been trying to support the heavy head which was out of alignment because the atlas was off. Check it out on google, it is fascinating and information reading, and could well be the answer to a lot of health problems which might be undiagnosed otherwise. I know it is going to help me, so best of luck, hope this helps!

Gloria...Nothing is more important that you, I 'm having this simptoms since 2007, but no Military Dr couldn't diagnostic, they also told me that I was Faking and I just were looking for benefits, until Dr Adunka Oliver in UNC find this abnormality...the Military does not have Idea of what is this kind of condition, they don't have the proper equipment nor the Level of professionalism to deal with it. It's been very hard to manage all the repercutions that this issua have brang to me and my family, the want me to get surgery but the Prognosis is not that good...good luck...GBY
