| | Diagnosis is Vestibular Neuritis but symptoms don't match
I am a 51 year old male and I have been diagnosed with Vestibular Neuritis. My symptoms are lightheadedness and uncomfortable chest tightness. I have been dealing with this problem since 2009. I have an initial episode in 2009 and it resolved in about six months. I want for about 18 months and then it hit me again. Both times it initially affected my heart. I was having PVCs the second time for a few weeks. I have been doing Vesitbular therapy for over a year but that has not seened to help. I have also been taking Cymbolta for about seven months and that has helped with my symptoms. I tried to reduce the dosage by half and my symptoms came back pretty stongly. It has been almost two years since this happened to me the second time. I have had all of the medical tests I can think of and the only diagnosis has been Vestibular Neuritis but that was not even a 100% diagnosis. Does anyone have any other ideas for what this might be? Do you have any suggestions for doctors that might know? I have seen three ENTs, two cardiaologests, a neurologist, Optomitrist, Neurotologist. It has definately affected my quality of life. I have had to reduce my exercise and work at home a lot since coming into work cause the sysmptoms to get worse. Any ideas?
