Been diagnosed with
Benign Proxysmall Position Vertigo.
I first noticed something was wrong when I was laid in bed one night, it felt like the whole room was spinning. Got a drs appointment and he sent me to hospital where they checked my hearing and had a look in my ears. While there the dr asked me to get on the bed and sit up and he got hold of my head helped my lay back and put my head to one side that happened once more.
When that was done I followed the dr back in to another room where they said I did have BPPV.
So I went back to my original dr and told him and he said everytime an attack occurs let him know and he will refer me back to hospital as the procedure of hearing test and head tiltin has to be done every time.
*toucwood* I haven't had an attack for a while but every now and then ill be sat doin somethin and ill go dizzy so I just go and lie down in a dark room. I'm not on any medication for it even tho I've been told there is medication for it.
