Re: Help :(
Jess, Many, many things cause dizziness and most are non life threatening so please stop worrying because that is giving you anxiety. Please make an appointment to see your doctor so he/she can put your mind at ease. Your doctor will probably refer you to a specialist such as an ENT doctor to check your ears. Maybe to a Chiropractor to check your neck and other parts of your body that can cause dizziness. In the meantime, do a self assessment of yourself; are you on any medicines that may have dizziness as a side effect? did you have a meal that gave you a stomach flu? this can deplete your electrolytes and cause you to feel weak and dizzy. Make sure to write down when you feel dizzy, is it always or in the mornings? do you also feel nauseous?
Because you had anxiety before and it has come back, you may be prone to anxiety attacks and feeling sick will certainly give you anxiety and cause panic attacks. Your doctor may prescribe benzos to calm you down and may prescribe long term medicine to help you with these episodes of anxiety. Good luck and hang in there!
