| Meniere's?
Hello all, I'm new here so I'll try to keep it short.
In 2010 I was diagnosed with Meniere's after months of dizzy spells. I would walk sideways, walk into walls, fall over when running, and feel like I was falling when sitting down or standing still. I had an EKG, EEG and MRI done. The result was Meniere's.
Since then, I've had minor dizzy spells. Within the last few weeks I've had sore muscles when I wake up, have been getting the dizziness back really bad (affecting walking and running again), tingling in my feet. I'm dropping things constantly, my speech is jumbled and its hard for me to find words. The hearing in my left ear is noticibly worse and I am exhausted all the time. I wake up tired and by 2 I'm falling asleep at my desk.
I'm 30, female with no children. I exercise almost every day and my diet is pretty good. I have an appt with my doctor tomorrow about all this and I'm wondering if this is a result of the Meniere's getting worse, or should I be asking about being tested for something else? I'm in the military and it's been my experience that if you don't ask, the doctor will find something that doesn't require off-base referrals. I really do appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you.
