constant dizzynes

hi,
i have been suffering from constant dizziness for about 10 months now, i've been going back and forth to the doctors for about 8 of those months and they have prescribed me several different medications for anxiety, stress, vertigo etc. none of the medications i have taken have had any effect on my health what so ever.
my symptoms are constants dizziness, constant double vision, constant white dots in eyes, i used to get headaches on odd occasions but recently over the past week i've been getting them all day it feels like a pressure on my forehead like someones pushing on it and my neediness has got worse with this, i also get slight chest pains and pains to the back of my neck. since my headaches have been constant over the past week i often find it hard to sometimes stand up and find my balance.
i went to the hospital a few weeks back and they told me to come back in 4 months and put me on a no salt diet?
im starting to get very annoyed that im getting ignored by the doctors and not been taken as seriously as id like to be taken. i am genuinly scared for my life and dont know what to do, just wondered if anyone knew of anything like this happening to anyone before and the reasons for it??
thanks Sam.

Re: constant dizzynes

Samuel, welcome to the boards. When you were at the hospital, did they do an MRI or CT-Scan of your head? You should not worry yourself that your symptoms can be life threatening. Instead, make sure that you stay on top of it by going to doctors that can help you such as an ENT doctor, an Opthamologist, or a Neurologist. Dizzyness can be caused by eyes misalignment, neck misalignment, ear problems, as a side effect of prescription medicines or an ingredient in the foods that you consume. write down any symptoms that you feel such as if the symptoms are worse in the morning or after being in the computer, if it gets worse after working out or eating, etc. Soon you will start to notice patterns and those small details that will lead to the cure. Often times tests will come back as normal so the only thing that the doctor will have to rely on is what you feel and good notes make for good diagnosis.

And yes, I also get those headaches and neck pains. When my neck pains start, the pain radiates to my temporal lobes and it feels as if the nerves behind my eyes are being pulled which blurs my vision, dries my eyes and makes them hurt. Just like you, I have been to many doctors and so far nothing. Tests come back normal which is good but discouraging. I can't give up on my search for a solution because at the end of the day I am who is in pain and I can't give up.
