| hearing problems?
My grandson is 7 months old, has DS. He just had his hearing tested and my son and daugther in law were told that he has substanial hearing loss in his right ear. They were told there was fluid in his ears but when they took him to the pediatrician they were told there was a little fluid in both ears but not even enough to need antibotics. When he was born his hearing tests were normal. He seems to respond to noise from both sides and turns when you say his name. Does anyone know how reliable these hearing tests are at this age? Has anyone else had this same experience?
