Simean Crease - Down Syndrome Message Board

Does anyone know if there is any meaning/rhyme or reason to a Down Child that only has one simean crease and not on both hands?

My daughter Audrey has a crease on only one hand as well. Strangely, my mother has one on one hand too. She never noticed until Audrey was born and we all started looking at our hands!

Well, I finally checked my Amy's hands. She has 2 creases on her right hand, like we all usually do, but one is lighter than the others. On her left hand, one crease. Imagine that! I never noticed this before!

What a beautiful song, Deb! All it needs is a melody. Hope we hear it someday soon.
