Unhappy New mother and member

Hello my name is kristie I am a new member and would like to say hi and introduce myself. I am 28 and a mother of 2 boys my youngest is 3 weeks old and is diagnosed with down syndrome. He is the most cutest baby though we were shocked to see he had downs he has no characteristics of downs but the cromozone test shows he does so we are making the best of it. I do have some questions though i have reseived bills from the hospital for care for him and myself that total 36,000 dollars anyone know of any assistants to pay these bills and that is what the insurance would not cover.

Re: New mother and member

Contact the hospital and ask to make an appointment with the hospitals social worker. They are able to help people in finding assistance in paying their hospital bills. Congrats on the new baby.
