Hi, my name is johnny and i am 80 yrs old. I have a young friend who has just been given the job(voluntarily) of caring for a three year old downs syndrome child. she is 45 and doesnt know much about this particularly
demanding task. She doesn't have a computer and therefored i am going to inform myself as much as possible and try to educate her. any help will be appreciated. lol (lots of love) johnny

What do you need to know? Every child is different regardless of any special needs. You have to get to know the child and their personality. There are so many different levels.

My son has DS. We were teaching him sign language at that point in his life to help him communicate. Let me know what specific things they need to know...we have seen a lot with my son!!!
