Working at a local music academy, I was recently approached by a parent about guitar lessons for her son. He will turn 16 in October I believe. My husband, one of our instructors, is willing to teach the lessons and would like to work with music therapy in the future but has no trainging at this point. We are all (the staff at the academy) unsure of what to do next. If anyone could please point me in the right direction of some research or other teachers, I would be greatly appreciative.
The mom chose guitar because he had been learning piano at school (3 years of lessons) and has expressed a desire to learn guitar rather than continuing with piano.
Please help in any way!
