| down syndrome ?????
On the 1st october 2006 i gave birth to twins. One a girl and the other a boy. They both look very different and the boy very healthy but the girl had a cleft pallet. At the twins 6 week check up myself and the doctor noticed that the girl was not developing as well as her twin and that she had features and characteristics of a down syndrome child. Since then she has undergone lots of tests but all have come back negative (for down syndrome). I am now thinking what else could it be that my child has. Among the looks and characteristics she has hearing aids, can not speak but can make noises, she has only been walking since september last year, her balance is not very good and her muscle tone is not that great either. Her twin is very well developed to the point of more intelligent than my 5 year old. If anyone has any ideas then please let me know as im now at a loss.
