Re: can you have a DS child two time in a row I've never personally had an amnio done but have heard from others that it is more uncomfortable than painful. When I chose to have another child after my daughter was born I was worried about the following child having Downs too. I was told the risks do increase but not highly. Age does play a significant factor. We decided against the amnio because regardless if the baby was going to have Downs I wouldn't have decided not to have him/her. My 2nd daughter was born without Downs. |
Re: can you have a DS child two time in a row I have friends that are my age and some younger and we are great friends. When i was in high school a girl in high school had a baby and the baby is a girl and she has down syndrome. the girl loves her daughter so much and the next child she had was a boy and he doesn't have Down syndrome. I have moderate mental retardation, adhd, deafness, cerebral palsy, autism. and other special needs. I wear glasses, hearing aids, and afo braces. I go to kool smiles dentist and there is a person that works there that has a child with down syndrome and the little boy has to have leg braces and wears them and i think a walker too. |
