I was wondering is it ok to mix valium and vicodin which were both prescribed by a doctor. I know i can take them on the same day but I was wondering can I take it within the same time period?

hey,i have been taking xanax(1 mg) and vicodin(7.5mg) together at night and havent had any problems.

I was prescribed both for my herniated disc this Fall and after a couple of days of really feeling "drugged", I was fine. They were both very small dosages, tho.

Just be aware that both are addictive. For some people getting off them can be hard especially after prolonged use. When taken together they can impair judgement (even by themselves) & cause drowsiness.--Positive4U
