Hey everyone...
I am just looking for a little advice. My best friend just got expelled from school for smoking weed. I am really worried about him. He is depressed and he told me that he used it to relaxe him so he isn't as upset. I want to help but I feel like there is nothing that I can do...like I am helpless. He is my best friend and I would do anything for him but i am clueless here. If anyone has any suggesstions they would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all.

You're a good pal.
Your friend sounds anxious as well as depressed. Obviously his parents are aware of the expulsion and the reason for it. It would be great if they found a good therapist for your friend. He sounds like he might benefit greatly talking to a professional, and if necessary, medication might be prescribed.
Are his folks considering this at all do you know?
