I take a very low dose of prednisone for Systemic Lupus related issues. According to the prescription information I receive; it states that the combination of alcohol and prednisone can be harmful for the stomach. I personally do not tolerate alcoholic beverages well, so I don't drink, therefore, this hasn't been an issue for me. However, I do know sometimes the warnings can be "worse case scenarios", so as SnowyLynne stated; I would double check with your Doctor ... just to be on the safe side.
