Lately I have been concerned about a dear friend of mine who has been smoking alot of marijuana. He is taking 900 mg of Depakote a day for mania, and I'm worried of what might happen if he continues. He already has visual hallucinations, muscle spasams, and intense mood swings while under the influence of marijuana; I fear what may happen next. Please give me input on this matter.

How old is this friend? That right there could determine what you can and can't do; most of all telll your friend your concerns-I don't know what else to say; I'm sorry-if they are underage you could talk to his/her parents, if over than I don't know what to say-either way it's illegal to use and your friend is playing with fire and it's not safe.
