I really don't want to sound out of line here, but unless an individual has a medical, lab or chem background, it might be very difficult to fully understand a toxicology report. They are long and I found there were many details of which I had no idea what points were being made; looking things up on the net helped only a little.

I had to satisfy myself with the medical examiner's comments regarding 'cause of death' and understood that chemicals and amounts mentioned were for clinical use, mainly, and areas of location would help explain why the death occurred.

Also keep in mind that in some areas, you are free to phone the medical examiner, or individuals in that office, in an effort to understand the report. Depending on the situation, they might be able to help you. I know how difficult it can be to just accept what is on the report; sometimes the bit of medical history on the report, and your previous knowledge of the individual is a big help as to the findings. Or, maybe you can talk it over with your family dr. But perhaps someone with more experience can help you here.
