Is this medication for mussels or bones
Hi there,

I went to Rite Aid, and got a dedication contains camphor 4% menthol 10% and methyl salicylate 30% I wonder if it is for mussel or bone or both? And is there problem from using it for long term?

Rubbing on menthol is very good for muscle pain, but it's also good for bone pain.

It's quite safe. A few people get red or irritated skin from it, but most people have no side effects.

I use a medicine call Voltaren gel. It has diclofenac sodium. I rub it on my knees and it relieves the pain. Or you can take pills, but those have more side effects.
