When I was addicted to adderal, i would stay up for 3-5 days at a time... and then crash for like 30 hours, wake up and repeat. I did this for almost 2 years.
I'm not a doctor, this is how I went to sleep on adderall, when going to sleep didn't seem possible.
#1 - Dont take anymore Adderall.
#2 - Go hydrate yourself, your probably very dehydrated. (remember to include electrolytes) When you start peeing, move to the next step.
#3 - Dont take anymore Adderall.
#4 - Eat something, if you just cant... force down a milkshake / protein shake / breakfast essentials, you gotta put something in your belly.
#5 - Go take a good long 20 - 25 minute shower with no music, just relax.
#6 - Brush teeth, deodorant, change into new cloths.
#7 - Go lay down in your bed with no tv, radio, or phone and just "act" like your going to go to sleep for 30 minutes.
If you do all the steps correctly, you really wont beable to stay awake. It makes your adderall high peak, and after being awake for so long, if your not going up, your going down, there is no middle.
after years of addiction, i have been sober for 1y 1m 2d and counting. If your interested in how i quit, send me a message.
If your interested in what adderall does to your body, I have so many different published papers on it... like, what the long-term effects of SHORT TERM adderall abuse are (Neurotoxicity, Parkinson's disease, dementia, etc.) The only DEFINATE side effect that you will get when you withdraw off adderall is depression. Also, ANYONE who is prescribed or dependent on adderall is considered "bipolar" (The roller coaster). Learning how bad the drug was was kind of my uh.... anti-drug :P
