topiramate causes kidney damage???
 

I got sick in November 2012 & after several tests including mono. CMV, influenza, &lupus all coming back negative-only to find out my kidneys were permanently damaged &their finding was said to b caused by ibuprofen use. However my psychiatrist took me off topiramate &after reading other posts on here, that seems more likely.

I'm just hoping this can b reversed & my creatine levels back to normal&no more protein in my urine.

Has anyone experienced this? Did your kidney damage reverse?
