Contact the International Dyslexia Association and see if there is a branch located where you live. They should have information about training etc. in your area.
A list of training sites should be on the site as well. I'm from Iowa and I received training from the Reading Center in Rochester, MN. They have an excellent training session every summer and would be an excellent choice. They teach Orton Gillingham which is an intensive phonics program using a visual, auditory and kinesthetic approach to tutoring. Just google them. Also, Wilson language training is a classroom program that can be used. Google Wilson language training and you should be able to find summer classes as well. The training is costly but what you learn can make a tremendous impact to the students that you teach. Both programs can be used for private tutoring (I tutored for 10 years).
