Retention/Comprehension trouble

Hello,

I've had Dyslexia and ADHD since my childhood diagnosis.

I have trouble especially with attention, retention and comprehension.

What have you found to really help the latter two?

wow with me it was rhythm. if i could tap a beat to it i could retain it.. and focus in concentration to read how its written. my brother uses patterns . though you see it one way you can reteach your brain to translate anything.
