Helping Adults with Dyslexia?

My husband has dyslexia and never really received any sort of help with it. He especially has difficulty with months and the order that months are in. I have tried to help him with it but I know his brain works differently and he's having trouble understanding me. I don't want to frustrate him further. Is there a teaching technique that might help?

It's just the order of the months. I say drop it. Maybe he's having trouble understanding you because you won't accept his faults. I once had a boyfriend that told me if I study hard enough I could cure my dyslexia.

Understanding and compassion go a long way. Is this really a issue for him or you? Just accept your husband as who he is. Trust me their could be a lot worst things he could be doing other then mixing up the months.
