| Dysphagia Update
Sorry I haven't been here in a while. I have been busy with doctor visits, family, and medical tests. I saw my neurologist a couple weeks ago. From reports from 3 of my doctors each has said that I most likely had a very mild mini stroke(TIA). They also all agree that with my speech therapy and a slight change in my medications, I should be able to bounce back and have at least a bit of my natural voice back. I have already noticed some improvement. I still have to take my time when speaking and there are still some words that are hard for me to say. All in all, I am pleased with my progress and I am grateful that the stroke wasn't worse. Got a big family support system and I am truly blessed.
