Thanks. I think the doc is waiting on the pathology report before prescribing an antibiotic. Said it will take about a week. Tonsils were definitely full of gunk/bacteria. All in all, surgery went well. The ENT and anaesthesiologist were great. I woke up immediately and w/o any nausea. I haven't coughed anything up but that's probably because i'm too paranoid about what I'd find! I've definitely needed the pain meds in order to swallow, so I'm taking the stuff every three hours like clockwork (i feel it bigtime when those 3 hours are up!). It's been a bit hard to sleep cuz i seem to have what feels like post-post-post nasal drip/snoring. Doc prescribed a small amount of benadryl on top of the tylenol/codeine to help with that. anybody else feel that on day/nite one?
