Maybe I'm overreacting. I stretched today, and rubbed behjind my ear, and felt a large lump behind on of them. it's just below ear level, and starts where the jaw bone is. It's not a cyst- I've had those. This is the size of an almond, and hard. I can't move it around, it kind of hurts when I put pressure on it.
The reason I'm posting here- I just noticed it today, and wondering what it was, did a google search. When a ton of pages came up with cancer in the title, I got scared. After reading some more, it seems that its quite possibly just a bacterial infection. Am I overreacting? I dont want to run to the doctor if it turns out it'll disappear on its own in a day or two. Should I wait a couple days before going to see him?

he gave me a prescription for these pills i have to take 3 times a day, and he said not to touch it or push on it, and he said to let the shower run on it for a couple minutes
oh riight , i have to see the doc on wednesday to look at my bump it doesnt get any bigger or anything it could be a Sebaceous cyst
Anyway do you have to go back if it doesnt go down?
im going back today at 5 because i cant even talk right now, my throat hurts so bad, and i cant swallow ANYTHING.. and my parents are having bratwurst and i cant even have anyyyy =[[[
