| post tonsillectomy tongue pain
Hi, has anybody experienced tongue pain? My tonsillectomy (and post-op bleeding cauterization) were 4 months ago. Things were almost back to normal but then the busy season at work began, and now my tongue is killing me! When I see somebody I know I avoid them so I don't have to speak. I never even pick up my phone any more.
I've been to the ENT who says everything is "fine" and she sent me over to a Neurologist who I have yet to hear from.
I have read alot on these posts about losing taste in the tongue but that has not been a problem for me, speaking has.
Is there anybody out there who has experienced this?
