Right between the eyes! help!

Hello all!

Over the past few weeks have been getting:

1. Lots of pressure in the front of head, and between eyes, worse when i look down
2. feeling quite light-headed and sometimes a bit dizzy.
3. occasional really sudden dizziness for a few seconds
4. feeling tired & brain fog
5. When i move my eyes to the 'full extent' of motion (eg: all the way to the left, or the right, or all the way up or down) it triggers the discomfort and dizzy feeling in my head.......

ive been irrigating like mad to no avail, doc doesnt seem to think thre is anything wrong he says its a sinus flare up or potentially labrynthitis, but i have become worried its a brain tumor or something (as silly as it sounds) - any thoughts?

ive had sinus problems before which left my right ear hearing worse than normal, but an MRI (about a year or so ago) revealed nothing.....

Re: Right between the eyes! help!

uk_worried_guy,
Hello.
All your symptoms are common for an impacted sinus infection, possibly migrating into an ear infection. Nothing lethal just a serious pain in the head and inconvienence. Are you running a fever? 99.4 - 100.7 for a minimum of 7 days? This would be the text book diagnosis for a bad sinus infection. Once a fever occurs the only way to cure it is a long duration of antibiotics and decongestants.
Go back to the doctor tell them your sysmptoms.. with a documented fever progression and they should be willing to help you.
Good luck.
MG

Re: Right between the eyes! help!

Gee I hope it isn't a brain tumour or else I have one too!!! I have been having basically all the same symptoms as you for the last month and I am being treated for a sinus infection with antibiotics, nasal spray and decongestants which aren't doing much and at a rather slow pace. I just finished my 10 day supply of antibiotics yesterday and I am still have a lot of the same symptoms, swollen glands, ears draining, dizzy, tired/out of it, stuffy/pressure between eyes, etc. I don't know what to do no since I don't have a Dr. appointment until Friday I may call their office and bug them again tomorrow. The Dr.'s have done nothing much accept screw me up I swear. Long story. But this wasn't going away on its own so I had to go to the Dr. I am taking lots of antioxidants, vitamins, etc. to try and get my immune up and stuff too.

Re: Right between the eyes! help!

Trust me.
Not a tumor.
Sinus pressure due to infection can produce a host of side effects, light headedness, obscured vision, migraines, ear pain, head aches.... While a tumur more than likely wouldn't coincide with the sinus pressure, but instead have the visual alterations and lightheadedness alone.
See a doctor and get it checked out.
