Can't swallow liquids
Hi, I recently had a very sore throat. Starting yesterday, I have been finding it difficult to swallow liquids. I can eat and swallow food just fine, but when it comes to liquid, there's a very high chance that it feels like it's "going down the wrong tube" and I just start choking.
I'm not too sure what this is, and with school and all (midterms), I've been finding it hard to find time to get to the walk-in clinic (and having some sort of checkup at a reasonable hour).
I should be able to get to one over the weekend, so if anyone knows what this is, if they could also tell me some immediate things to do, I'd be very grateful. I am trying my best to drink hot liquids, but I tend to choke on them. It is, however, much better than it was yesterday when I could barely drink anything (even swallowing my spit made me choke).
Thanks for any help in advance.
