I seem the same as a few of you other guys - Im 6 days after the tonsillectomy and the thing is hanging right down onto my tongue. I can feel them squishing togther.
I see the main uvula hanging when I look in with my torch but the bit that hangs too far down is kinda see through..with a tiny red bit at the bottom. Its way to long than before the op..though not fat.

Someone tell me if it will go awayyyyy!!!

My boyfriend thinks it might be a blister on the end as its kinda see through he thinks it may be filled with water?! Havent a clue! Am scared...someone advise meeeee!!!!

It's probably swollen or long because the accidentaly suctioned it when you were in the recovery room.. that's what the doctor said about mine.
and mine is clear at the bottom too.. and he said it's full of fluid, and it will go down naturally over time. But if you are impatient you can go and he will spray numbing spray and open your mouth and just drain the fluids out for you.
I'm on day 18 post op and my uvula is still swollen.. but it's definitely gone down.
