| Burning in nose & soreness?
Hello,
I'm new to this site and I'm hoping that someone can help me as I've been to the doctor numerous times with no luck. I'm sure someone else must have experienced this.
About 6 weeks ago I noticed a sore pain in one of my nostrils, making it feel like a burning feeling when I breathed in. I checked, and it was red and swollen in the nasal passage only on that side. The doctor suspected it was a bacterial infection and prescribed 3 courses of antibiotics, whch have done nothing. A nasal swab later came back clear. (??)
I also have post nasal drip, and the redness in my nose is still there, with just a tingling sensation. I don't smoke, or do drugs and can't figure out what this can be. My nose isn't running and I don't feel like I have a cold. Sometimes my ears pop but this has improved over the last few days.
Has anyone felt like this before or know what it might be?
