throat still sore months after intubation
I was intubated at the end of August as part of a surgery. I got a little unruley in recovery and think I may have pushed on something in my neck.
Here it is months later and I'm fine when I first get up in the mornings, but once I eat something or talk alot it feels like something tore in my throat.
I do a lot of speaking in loud public places so I have to raise my voice to be heard. I'm good for about 15 minutes of this.
Its not a sore throat, not caughing up anything. throat spray helps all but that area. It feels like the skin of a kernel of pop corn is wedged down there some times then SNAP...ouch!!! It almost feels like a tear. Is this possibly from the intubation? Its been like this, worse, and better, since my surgery.
Besides having a Dr check it out what can he/she do? Being quiet is not my thing.
Thank you in advance for any help/advice
